TalentHub is an online recruitment solution that helps small to medium sized enterprises manage their end to end recruitment needs. List your positions, screen suitable candidates, manage your applications, process references and do so much more. If you’re a candidate or intern looking for a position, you’re at the right place. Create a profile and apply for your perfect job. Finally, if you’re a recruiter, create a recruiter profile and showcase what you specialise in so hiring managers can get in touch to use your services. Otherwise advertise your roles, find suitable candidates and manage incoming applications with our awesome applicant management system.

We have made TalentHub to be completely free to all parties, so no matter whether you’re a candidate looking for a new opportunity, an intern looking for an internship, a recruiter looking to set up a profile or a hiring company wanting to advertise roles and manage incoming applications, it’s all completely free for all.

You can cancel your account at anytime without needing to contact our support team. Just log in to into your profile, go to the Settings tab and click on Delete Account. Please note, if you do this then all of your account information will be permanently deleted so please take care here or let us know what was the issue you experienced so we can do everything in our power to help rectify it.

Unfortunately that’s a negatory. You need an active account to create roles with TalentHub and use all the awesome functionality. We’ve made it easy though, it honestly only takes a couple of minutes to set yourself up.

We cover a broad spectrum of professionals in most industries and specialisations. Originally we created TalentHub to focus on IT folks exclusively (e.g. software engineers, system/network engineers, product specialists, help-desk support etc), but then got tons of requests from almost every other career path as well so opened it up to all who look for opportunities in NZ. You will now be able to find accountants, sales managers, truck drivers, teachers, photographers, engineers and many more.

We spoke to our customers who said most candidate databases out there are relatively inaccurate because candidate profiles are created from all over the world and the bulk of applicants don’t meet the basic experience requirements plus they don’t have valid documentation to legally work in NZ. This becomes a huge time waste for hiring managers to sift through hundreds of applications with no results. We decided to help save their time and improve quality and have closed TalentHub to those outside of New Zealand so only applicants that are here can apply for opportunities. This means that our database is only filled with candidates that are based in NZ.

Unlike other popular service providers in AU & NZ where you have to pay well over $200 for each job ad you create, there are no limits with TalentHub. With an active free profile, you can post as much as you want and search until your finger tips hurt. For free we also give you a bunch of other functionality that you need to effectively process applications, do reference checks and perform a bunch of other HR stuff.

You are not restricted here at all. If you’ve placed someone already and don’t want anymore applications coming through, to remove an active job just log in to your profile, go to Jobs to find your role and click on Archive. This will remove the role, making it invisible to the public so applicants will no longer be able to apply for it.

Yes absolutely. TalentHub has been designed to cater for various types of recruitment workflows. When you create an account, you get given a default pipeline which is an industry standard so it will certainly suit you in most cases. However, if you would like to run a seperate and more customised recruitment processes for some of your roles, just go to your Settings, and click on ‘Use multiple pipelines’. This will allow you to create various suitable pipelines depending on your individual hiring needs.

Yes, its a great way to get ready to get hired. We’ve created a reference bank for candidates so if you want to get your ducks in a row when applying for jobs, just go to the Menu and click on References. You will be able to request a reference from your referee which will be linked to your account. Every time you apply for a role, your references will be available to the hiring managers so you can be vetted and on boarded quickly. If you don’t want to use certain reference then simply archive those.

Absolutely, in fact we’ve invested a lot in our form building framework so you can customise the type of prescreening questions you ask applicants. We’ve also developed stop rules that help you sift out non suitable applicants as well. You can also enable multiple form types in Settings and customise each prescreen, survey or questionnaire depending on the type of role of company you’re hiring for.

Yes, no issues to change things up if your circumstances are different. There are several user account types on TalentHub to cover different user needs. Candidate (if you're looking for job opportunities), Recruiter (if you're looking for talent to hire for someone else) & Company (if you're looking for talent to hire for yourself/your company). Different account types provide different set of features so if you need to change, then just go to your Settings tab, and select Change Account Type.

Absolutely, we're all about getting feedback on what's useful to you so please use our Contact Us form to submit your thoughts and we'll do everything possible to get it added to the service. We also highly recommend that you raise new feature ideas in our Forum tab, that way other users can comment and vote on how quickly we should release it.

We’ve gone all out to make our service is as secure as possible providing privacy and data integrity using cryptographic protocols (TLS certificates). We focus on providing a secure environment that goes above and beyond industry security standards and guidelines. On top of that, we continuously conduct manual penetration testing and automated vulnerability scans. Our servers are backed up and data is kept secure behind a firewall. We restrict access of information to TalentHub employees and contractors who need to know the information in order to operate, develop or improve our service. These individuals are bound by confidentiality obligations.
